How to Cancel Your Gym Membership in Florida
Florida's Health Studios Act (Fla. Stat. § 501.012 et seq.) provides a 3-business-day cancellation window for any reason. After that, Florida law allows cancellation for medical disability, relocation, or facility closure. After that: cancellation is available for (1) medical/physical incapacity preventing use, (2) relocation 25+ miles from the nearest facility with no reciprocal access, (3) death, (4) health studio closure or substantial change in services.
