Freelancer Starter Pack

Everything you need to start a new client engagement

A new client means two documents before you start work: an NDA so you can talk freely, and a contractor agreement so the scope and payment terms are in writing. Fill in your details once, both are generated, one bundled price for both, less than buying them separately, and you only fill out one form.

Mutual NDA

Protects both sides, not just the client. Covers project scope, source code, pricing, and business strategy with standard carveouts for information you already knew or developed independently.

Just need the NDA on its own?

Independent Contractor Agreement

Documents the project scope, timeline, and payment schedule in writing, so there is no ambiguity about what was agreed if a dispute comes up later.

Just need the contractor agreement on its own?

How it works

1. One form

Your info, the client's info, and the project details, entered once.

2. Preview both

See the watermarked NDA and contractor agreement side by side.

3. Unlock & sign

Pay once, download both PDFs, and get them signed before work starts.

Frequently asked questions

Why is the bundle cheaper than buying the NDA and contractor agreement separately?

Buying the NDA and contractor agreement one at a time costs more in total than getting them bundled. The bundle also saves you a step: you fill out one form instead of two, and we generate both documents from the same client and project details.

Do I have to buy both documents, or can I get just one?

You can buy either document on its own at /nda or /contractor. The bundle only makes sense if you want both for a new client engagement.

Is a freelancer contract agreement legally binding without a lawyer?

Yes. A signed NDA and independent contractor agreement are enforceable contracts once both parties sign, regardless of whether a lawyer drafted them. For high-value engagements or unusual terms, have a lawyer review before signing.

What's the difference between an NDA and a contractor agreement?

The NDA protects confidential information shared during the engagement, like source code, pricing, or business strategy. The contractor agreement documents the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms so there's no ambiguity if a dispute comes up later. Most new client relationships need both.

Not legal advice. For complex engagements or high-value disclosures, have a lawyer review both documents.
